MBA (Full Time) 2 years Program(No. of seats 300)

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is AICTE Approved post-graduate degree course in management and its duration is 2 years (four semesters). The Institute is affiliated to Jwaji University, Gwalior and the MBA degree will be awarded by NAAC ‘A’ accredited Jiwaji University, Gwalior. The program is so designed that the students get balanced development in their conceptual understanding and practical/application exposure.

A Masters degree in Management (MBA) has gained importance in last two decades along with the increase in demand for management graduates in all functional areas of management (Marketing, finance, HRM, International Business) in industries across sectors. Last decade has seen exponential growth in retail, banking, insurance, consultancy and research; generating further demand for management graduates.

MBA graduates have higher chances of obtaining and holding a high level management position due to their qualification. It is estimated that 70% of the MBA graduates worldwide are senior managers or board directors. Whether you wish to further your current career by advancing in a leadership position, or you want to pursue a new career, an MBA degree is definitely going to boost your chances of achieving these goals.

As an MBA student you have great networking opportunities. During your MBA study you get to know and interact in a relevant manner with people from diverse backgrounds and develop insight that is a great asset, not only to you as a manager, but also to any potential employer. It is also important to note that during the two severe recessions in last decade hardly any MBA lost his/her job; indicating that MBA graduates have higher job security than other graduates.

Your ability to get seed capital for starting a new business improves tremendously if you have done an MBA from one of the top B-schools in the country. You also get to interact with the best minds in the country where you can brainstorm your ideas and get a better handle on things. 

The Institute has a systematic process in place for the development of the MBA students to make them suitable for industry. The Institute has right processes in place for developing the personality of the students. The students present six seminars and learning through movies presentations, appear in at least 50 practice GDs and mock interviews, make at least 30 classroom presentations, are part of at least 24 organizing committees for national or international programs  and are sponsored to attend unlimited events organized by other Institutions across the country. A team of four faculty members takes care of development of desired skill set (soft skills, leadership skills, team skills, analytical skills, decision making skills etc) through personality development program that runs throughout the two years program.  The students have industry exposure through six to eight weeks summer internship in reputed business houses in addition to on job training and regular interactions with industry leaders on EML platform.

The placements offered by the Industrial units belonging to all the sectors of economy to the students of MBA program of the Institute is a testimony of the desired skill set possessed by the students of this Institute. The program is also approved for the purpose of selection in defense forces through CDS route. MBA graduates are eligible to participate in selection process for administrative positions both at central and state levels. The program is also recognized by the public sector units for selection on executive positions.

The students of MBA program are offered specialization in Marketing, Finance, HRM and International Business. The Institute also offers job oriented certificate programs to the students of MBA program to enhance their employability at higher positions.

The Main objective of MBA program is to prepare students for senior executive level responsibilities in industries, banking, defense and administration.

Eligibility

  • Candidates seeking admission in MBA program must have secured minimum 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any Indian or Foreign University/Institute recognized by Jiwaji University.

  • A candidate who has appeared in the final year of qualifying degree examination during current academic session as a regular or private candidate but whose result is yet to be declared can also apply on provisional basis. But such candidates must produce certificate of having passed the qualifying degree examination before the last date fixed in this respect by the Institute, failing which his/ her admission may be cancelled. The fee and other charges paid by him/her will not be refunded in any case.
