Prestige Institute of Management and Research Gwalior is an Autonomous, UGC NAAC accredited 'A' Grade institute. It was set up in the year 1997 by Prestige Education Society, Indore registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.The Society was setup by Prestige Group of Industries with an objective to meet the widely felt need for globally oriented Management and Information Technology education and training for professionals. The Institute has grown to be recognized as a premier Institute for higher learning. It is a major learning center in Central India. The Institute has approval of All India Council for Technical Education & the State Government and is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Institute is also ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in the management discipline with a rank band 102-125 for two consecutive year 2022 and 2023
The Institute offers MCA (affiliated by RGPV,Bhopal) MBA, MBA (Business analytics), MBA-Integrated (Five years programme in management), BBA, BCA, B. Com, LLM, BBA LLB(Hons.), B. Com LLB(Hons.), and BA LLB(Hons.) programmes approved by BCI and affiliated by jiwaji university, Gwalior . Jiwaji University, Gwalior awards the degree for all the programmes offered by the Institute. Institute has received UGC NAAC 'A' Grade accreditation and is recognized under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The Institute has permanent affiliation of MBA, BBA & BCA programme with Jiwaji university Gwalior. This Institute is a recognized Research center for Management byJiwaji university, Gwalior.

The Campus
The strikingly modern PIMG campus, specifically designed to create a stimulatingatmosphere, is located at Airport Road, Near DeenDayal Nagar, Gwalior, a prominent site.3 kms from the Airport, 7 kms from Railway Station and 7 kms from Main Bus Stand. Thecampus is aesthetic, user friendly, spacious, well lit and comfortable. This serene andpeaceful environment supplemented by greenery provides just the right balance to therigorous academic curriculum budding professionals have to go through.
Summer Training
Summer Training is an essential component of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior (M.P.) curriculum which provides practical orientation to the students. During Summer training the students have to undergo rigorous training for gaining in depth knowledge and skills to understand the problems underlying the work situations and learn to work out their solutions. Faculty guides help students during their summer training along with their industry guides.
Industrial Visits
Another vital ingredient of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior (M.P.) philosophy of excellence in overall development is industrial visits. Industrial visits provide interface between educational and organizational environment and help the students in understanding the practical aspects of what they study in class room. The students visit industrial units to understand how Management, Law, commerce and IT concepts skills are applied in real settings. This helps them acquire applications oriented learning.
Extra Mural Lecture Series
This is another dynamic aspect of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior (M.P.) Management, Information Technology, Commerce and LAW program; guest lectures are organized to supplement the theoretical knowledge of students with practical aspects by experienced professionals coming from reputed organizations. Executives and eminent personalities from the corporate world are invited to the institute regularly for interacting with students on relevant topics and pragmatic aspects. Such interaction enrichesstudent’s application orientation by exposing them to the experiences of the Industry.
Sports
The Institute provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students through sports club headed by sports officer. The students also participate in various inter-state and inter university competitions.
Cultural and Social Activities
PIMRG facilitates all round development of its students. The Institute believes in bringing out the best of all the students by providing them the right environment and opportunities. Institute regularly organizes seminars, group discussions, quizzes, cultural programs and other social extension activities. Which provide a platform to them to demonstrate and hone their skills.
Annual fest- Spandan
The Institute organizes annual Fest "Spandan" every year. Students representing Institutions from all over India participate in various cultural, educational and competitive events organized during "Spandan". The festival is planned and organized by the students of the Institute under the able guidance of the faculty. The students of the Institute are sponsored to participate in competitive events organized by other Institutions.
Alumni Meet
The Institute has the tradition of staying in touch with our alumni. AN alumni association has been formed and an alumni meet facilitate constant interaction with their alma mater.
Excursion Tour
The Institute sends the students on excursion tour every year. The students learn leadership skills, team building, goal setting, attainment of objectives, time management etc. through practical exposure on the tour. The faculty members also accompany the group.
