Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior
organized 2nd National Law Seminar on “Multidisciplinary
approach towards Social Transformation†on
March 30, 2019 in collaboration with VidhiAgaaz as Knowledge Partner;
Lawctopus, LiveLaw and Lawof as Media Partners; OYO Rooms as Accommodation
Partner. The members of the Core
committee were Prof. Hariom Awasthi (Coordinator) Prof.
Pooja Mishra (Co-Coordinator).
The Inaugural Ceremony was held
on 30/03/2019 wherein Chief Guest
and Presiding Officer was Prof. Dr. Balraj Singh Chauhan, Vice Chancellor,
Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur,
Guest of Honor was Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kulshreshtha, Dean
Law, School of Studies, Jiwaji University, Gwalior; Prof. Dr. M. Afzal Wani,
Professor, School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Govind Singh IndraPrasth
University, New Delhi, was the Keynote Speaker, Dr. S.S. Bhakar (Conference
Chairman) were also present on the dais.
Dignitaries on the Dias unveiled the C.D. form of Souvenir of 2nd National Law Seminar 2019 and Brochure
of upcoming 3rd National Law Seminar 2020 in the Inaugural Ceremony.
The Department of Law received 112 Abstracts
and more than 87 Full Research Papers. Overall 95 delegates registered
themselves from various part of country, overall more than 207 delegates
registered for the Seminar.

Two Parallel Technical Sessions were scheduled Pre-Lunch from 01:20 PM to
03:00 PM. The First Technical Session started at 01:20 PM in the Seminar Hall 1
and 16 papers were presented in the Session. The session Chair for the same was
Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kulshreshtha, Professor and Dean, School of Studies in Law,
Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P. and the Co-Session Chair was Prof. V. K.
Shrotriya, Director Center for Legal Education and Legal Aid Clinic Gwalior,
M.P. The session ended up at 03:00 PM. The Second Technical Session started at
01:20 PM in the Board Room, and 15 Papers were presented in the session. The
session Chair for the same was Dr. Visalakshi Vegesna, Sr. Associate Professor,
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow and Co-Session Chair was
Dr. Anjuli Sharma, Associate Professor, Maharani LakshmiBai College of
Excellence, Gwalior, M.P. The session ended up at 02:45 PM. After Lunch one
Best Paper Session was started at 04:15 PM in the Board Room. Total 7 Research
Papers were presented in the Session.
The Session Chair was Prof. Dr. Ashwani Kumar Bansal, Vice Chancellor,
Maharaja SurajMal Brij University, Bharatpur, Rajasthan and Co-Session Chair
was Prof. M. Afzal Wani, Professor, School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru
Govind Singh IndraPrasth University, New Delhi.
The Valedictory Ceremony for the 2nd
National Law Seminar 2019, was Scheduled at 04:00 PM in Seminar Hall 1. Honorable
Chief Guest for the ceremony was Prof. Dr. Ashwani Kumar Bansal, Vice
Chancellor, Maharaja SurajMal Brij University, Bharatpur, Rajsthan; Guest of Honor
was Prof. Visalakshi Vegesna, Associate Professor Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya
National Law University, Lucknow; Conference Chairman Dr S.S. Bhakar, Director
Prestige Institute of Management Gwalior was also present. The Certificate of
merit was given to two of the Best Papers participants and for Best Paper
Contest, Certificate was awarded to Mr. Harshit Sharma, Student Amity Law
School, Amity University Madhya Pradesh.
