Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior organized 9th
International Conference in collaboration with Indian Economic Association on “Measure,
Manage & Facilitate Change to Harness Organizational Potential” during Jan.
6-8, 2018. The members of the Core committee were Prof. Chanda Gulati (Organizing Secretary), Dr. RPS Kaurav &
Prof. Himani Saxena.
Inaugural Ceremony was held on 6/1/18 wherein Chief guest and
presiding officer was Prof.
Lovely Sharma (Vice Chancellor, Raja ManSingh Tomar Music & Arts University,
Gwalior), Guest of Honor was Prof. BK Mohanty, IIM-L, Special Guest
were Prof. Sanjay Sehgal, Dept. of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, Dr.
Robert L. Williams, Sigmund Weis School of Business, Susquehanna University, US
and Keynote Speaker, Prof. Dogan Gursoy,
Washington State University, USA. Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman Governing Body, Dr.
S.S. Bhakar (Conference Chairman) were also present on the dais.
The Institute Conferred Life time Achievement Award on Prof. BK Mohanty and Management excellence
award on Prof. Sanjay Sehgal. The institute felicitated Dr. Shailja Bhakar
for completing 10 years in the institute, and Dr. Sonal Saxena for completing
her PhD in year 2017.

Overall we received 230 abstracts and more than 200 research
papers. Overall 20 International delegates registered themselves from US, South
Africa, Bangladesh, Turkey, Tanzania, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Egypt , more
than 212 delegates registered for the conference across the country.

Technical session I, II and III were scheduled from 1:15pm to 3: 30 pm on 06/01/18 Session I i.e. Best Phd Contest was
chaired by Dr. Sanjay Sehgal, and the other panelists were Dr. Dogan Gursoy and
Prof. J L Gupta. Technical Session II of
Information Technology was Chaired by Dr. D N Goswami, Co session Chair
was Dr. Chandrakant Sharma and Keynote Speaker was Dr. Jagdish Bansal. Technical
Session III of Human Resource Management
was chaired by Dr. Monika Prakash , co
chaired by Dr. Somesh Dhamija along with Keynote Speaker Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Technical
session 4 , 5, 6 and 7th were scheduled from 3:45 pm to 6:00 pm, Technical session IV of Finance was chaired by
Prof. Sumat Agarwal and Keynote speaker was
Dr. Preeti Singh. Technical
Session V on General Management was chaired by Prof. J P Verma, Co-Session
Chair was Dr. Ravinder Rena and Keynote speaker was Dr. Aruna Dhamija.
Technical session VI on Marketing
Management was chaired by Dr. Nimit
Chowdhary, Co-chaired by Dr. Timira Shukla and Keynote speaker was Dr.
Kanwaljit Kaur. Last session VII on Economics
was chaired by Dr. S K Shukla, co-chaired by Dr. AKS Tomar and keynote
speaker was Dr. Bishawjit Chandra Deb.
DAY II i.e. January 7, 2018 in all 5 sessions were scheduled. Technical
Session 8, 9 and 10 were scheduled form
10:00am to 12:00 noon. Technical Session VIII was on Financial Management chaired by Dr. Samta Jain, co chaired by Dr. AKM Tafzal and Dr. Vishal K Vyas and Keynote speaker was Dr. Vijay Saini. Technical
Session IX was on Human Resource Management
chaired by Dr. Harsh Dwivedi, co chaired by Dr. Ruby Dwivedi and Dr. G
Geethanjali and keynote speaker was Dr. Kavita Indapurkar . Technical
Session X was on Marketing Management chaired by Dr. Rajendra Sahu and Keynote
speaker was Dr. Robert L. Williams. Technical Session XI, XII &
XIII were scheduled form 1:00 pm to 3:00
pm.
Technical Session XI was on General Management chaired by Prof. S K Singh, co chaired by Dr. Sanjeev Gupta and Keynote Speaker was
Dr. Hebatallah Adam.Technical Session XII was on Economics, Session Chair
was Prof. A K Bajpayee, Co-session Chair- Dr. D K Asthana and Keynote
Speaker was Dr. Indu Varshney.
Last Technical Session for Best paper Contest was chaired by Prof. Yogesh
Upadhyay and co-chaired by Prof. K. Ahuja.
Valedictory
ceremony was scheduled on 7/1/18. Hon’ble Chief guest of the occasion was Prof.

Day
three i.e. 8/1/18, the institute
organized Full day Agra Excursion tour wherein all registered faculty delegates
and guest accompanied. The tour was coordinated by Prof. CK Dantre along with Dr.
Sneha Rajput and Prof. Brahmanand Sharma, escorted the trip. The Agra visit made
the conference a more memorable with never ever ending memories.
