Objectives of the Event :
The key components of the event included:
· Geeta Path– Devotional recitations of select verses from the Bhagavad Gita, explaining their profound meanings.
· Bhakti Sessions– Singing and chanting devotional hymns (bhajans) dedicated to Lord Krishna, cultivating a sense of divine connection.
· Dance Performances – Classical and devotional dances symbolizing various teachings of the Gita and expressions of devotion.
· Understanding the Bhagavad Gita Through Geeta Path.
· The Power of Bhakti (Devotion) and Connection.
· Dance as an Expression of Spiritual Teachings.
· Reflection on the Practical Application of the Gita’s Teachings.
· Integration of Body, Mind, and Spirit.
About the Event :
The International Gita Mahotsav was held on 11th December, 2024 with grandeur and reverence at Adarsh Gaushala, Morar, Gwalior, under the joint auspices of the Gwalior District Administration and the Gwalior Municipal Corporation. This magnificent celebration aimed to spread the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and reinforce our rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees, spiritual leaders, and local citizens, reflecting their deep reverence for the Bhagavad Gita's profound message. The Gaushala premises were beautifully adorned to create a serene and spiritual ambiance, making it a perfect setting for the knowledge festival.
The students of the Sahitya Club at PIMR-G had the opportunity to visit Adarsh Gaushala to understand the teaching of Bhagwat Geeta and adapt its lessons in life. This spiritual visit was a wonderful experience for the students, they also volunteered in the food distribution during Bhandara.
