Brief Profile

Ms Shilpi Jadon is an Assistant Professor in Management & Law at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior. An enthusiastic legal academic with a strong foundation in the Contract Act, IT Act, Business Law, and IPR. She earned her LL.M. in Criminal Law from ITM University, Gwalior, in 2024. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Law at Amity University, Madhya Pradesh. Her doctoral research, titled “Formulation of Legal Framework for Central Bank Digital Currency System in India”, with a specific focus on Legal laws for Digital Currency & Digital Economy.

She has been invited as a Judge in the Trial Advocacy Competition at Amity University, Madhya Pradesh. She has given numerous lectures on legal awareness and a safe environment at various events hosted by different institutes. She also served as a Content writer. She served as a Campus Ambassador at Memo Pundit and a Campus Ambassador Intern (IMUN) at the International Model United Nations. She has done various internships under the HC Judge, District Court and Judicial Magistrate, Civil Judge First class and in the Juvenile Justice Board, CID, Central Jail, Women and Child Development, DALSA, Family Court, and Consumer Court. She has also visited the Central Jail twice, and Mental Hospital and several NGOs.

Her research interests include areas such as Central Bank Digital Currency, Digital Economy, and financial regulation. She has contributed research papers and book chapters to reputed journals and edited volumes, and has presented her work at national and international conferences (ISAIDT, NLU, Central University) and actively participated in various seminars, FDP, webinars, and conferences. Her academic pursuits combine teaching excellence with rigorous legal research.
