An accomplished and research-intensive academician with a strong interdisciplinary command over Commerce, Management and Taxation, she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Finance at Prestige Institute of Management and Research. Her scholarly trajectory is anchored in the successful submission of a doctoral thesis (2026) examining the efficacy of direct tax incentives on exports and foreign direct investment within India’s Special Economic Zones, reflecting advanced expertise in public finance, fiscal policy design and investment-led economic development.

A dual UGC-NET Junior Research Fellow in both Commerce and Management, her academic journey is marked by sustained excellence, methodological rigor and a mature research orientation. She teaches and mentors across core domains including Cost Accounting, Business Finance, Business Economics, International Finance and Corporate Law, employing case-based, ICT-enabled and outcome-focused pedagogies aligned with NEP 2020 and contemporary assessment frameworks. Her extensive engagement in student mentoring and dissertation supervision reflects a deep commitment to academic capacity building.

A prolific and policy-relevant researcher, her work has been published in Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed journals, addressing contemporary and forward-looking themes such as tax incentive regimes, foreign direct investment dynamics, education financing through cess structures, digital transformation in accounting and auditing and the application of artificial intelligence in modern tax administration. Her research strengths are further reinforced by proficiency in econometric modelling, policy impact evaluation, inferential statistics and advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies, underpinned by strong adherence to publication ethics.

Her scholarly excellence has been recognized through prestigious academic honours, including the Prof. Prafull Kumar Seth Best Paper Award in Taxation, alongside presentations at eminent national and international academic forums. Earlier distinctions include the Director’s Medal for First Rank in B.Com. (Hons.), reflecting a consistent record of academic merit and discipline.
